Recognizing a need in the market for temporary uninterruptible power, in 2008 UPS Rental set out to develop a prototype of what would become our first 300kVa trailer. Through conversations with our partners and trusted clients, we quickly realized the importance of some key elements, including: air-ride trailers, discreet packaging, redundancy and the ability to customize; these elements have been present since day one and have only improved over time. 

Our first trailer was deployed in 2008 to Camp David where it remained for a short time before going to Forest Labs for over 3 years. Over the next few years, we created 5 more trailers based on the first generation prototype 300 kVa.

In 2012, the second generation of trailers was conceived. This time with wireless/cellular alarm monitoring and guaranteed quick deployment – deployed within two hours of your call. In order to meet the needs of our growing inventory, we welcomed two senior UPS technicians to our team as well as remote deployment centers throughout the country. 

During this time, we also added to our inventory of standalone UPS Rental units, cables and additional rental equipment to complement our growing fleet of trailers.

Today, the generation 3 trailers are the stand out, state of the art leader in our industry. Continuous upgrades, requests from partners and clients and knowledgeable engineers led to the fleet of 32 trailers we proudly offer today. 

The UPS Rental difference is in our commitment to the utmost safety and quality standards. All trailers are fully assembled in house. Experienced, trained UPS Rental engineers perform all startups and necessary maintenance on the units while on site to ensure product integrity. We will not leave the site until our customer is satisfied. Every rental agreement includes maintenance throughout the duration of your rental.
