UPS Rental’s design engineers formulated a redundant, trailer-mounted UPS power system with switchgear, power distribution, and generator back-up to meet the client’s critical power needs.
UPS Rental recommended and delivered (2) 500kVA paralleled UPS systems in an N+1 trailer-mounted configuration with (15+) minutes of battery back-up time and 24/7 cellular alarm monitoring system. In addition, the solution included multiple 2,000 amp NEMA-3R breakers, an automatic transfer switch, a 2MW diesel generator and (9) power distribution units. This solution more than doubled the state’s data computing power capabilities.

UPS Rental’s critical power knowledge and readily available rental inventory allowed the state to continue uninterrupted operations while the rental solution was installed. Now that the solution is installed, UPS Rental’s Field Engineers visit the facility on a monthly basis to insure the system is operating as designed at no added cost to the customer.
